In less than one week after the country’s major
opposition party, All Progressive Congress Party (APC) lost 1,500 of its
members to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party in Odigbo Local
Government Area of Ondo State, another 2,000 members have defected.
According to Daily Independent, the defection took place at the weekend during a campaign rally personally led by the state’s Governor, Olusegun Mimiko in Okitipupa and Ilaje local government areas of the state.
