NANS Warns National Leader | Stop Collecting Jonathan's Money With Our Name

The Lagos Chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, has asked its national body to stop soiling the Association’s name by endorsing President Goodluck Jonathan so as to get some naira rain in return.
According to Sanusi Sulaimon, Chairman of the Lagos state NANS, the Association is a non-partisan gathering of students, who are not allowed to use the umbrella name to support any political party.
In a recent chat with Naij.com, the Students’ leader said that it was not part of the President’s meeting with some students at the Eko Hotels on Sunday night.
He stated further that, “our attention has been drawn to a purported endorsement of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan for second term by the apex body of the association in Abuja on Wednesday. 25 February 2015.
We wish to emphatically state that NANS/JCC Lagos dissociates itself from such baseless, needless, clueless, biased and undignified endorsement of Dr. Goodluck Johnathan the flagbearer of a political party which has ruled Nigeria for 16 years where things grown from bad to worse.
