Sorry Wiz Your Going To Jail

The 26-year-old rapper failed to appear for a scheduled court appearance in El Paso, Texas yesterday Wednesday, August 6, 2014 for a hearing over a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana.
When the Judge, Ricardo Herrera learned that neither the ‘We Dem Boyz’ star – whose real name is Cameron Thomaz – nor his lawyer had arrived for the hearing, he issued an arrest warrant, TMZ reports.
The charges stem from an arrest in May when the rapper – who has 17-month-old son Sebastian with wife Amber Rose – was detained at an airport in El Paso, Texas, after officers from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) allegedly found a ‘green leafy substance’ in his luggage before he boarded a flight to Dallas.

 The rapper shared several images online from behind bars, including a ‘jail selfie’ in which he appeared to not be wearing any trousers.

Despite creating the hashtag ‘FreeTrapWiz,’ on Twitter and poking fun at the incident, he later hinted that he was becoming increasingly frustrated.
He tweeted: ‘I wanna drop 28 Grams but they got me locced up. Soon as I get out, the tapes comin out. Fucc that (sic).
‘They’re tryna figure out how many grams I had. How ironic (sic).’

American Ebola Patient Speaks - “I am growing stronger everyday”

An American patient who was diagnosed with Ebola and airlifted to the United States for treatment has released his first statement since the ordeal began.
Doctor Kent Brantly, an American aid worker from North Carolina, said in a statement Friday he is “growing stronger every day.”
He was infected with the Ebola virus while working for U.S. aid group Samaritan’s Purse at a Liberian hospital that treated Ebola patients.
He released the statement from the isolation unit of Atlanta’s Emory University Hospital where he is being treated.
There is no known cure for Ebola, and Brantly is being treated with an experimental serum.
Brantly thanked those who have been praying for his recovery, and said his focus remains on following God.

The full statement:

I am writing this update from my isolation room at Emory University Hospital, where the doctors and nurses are providing the very best care possible. I am growing stronger every day, and I thank God for His mercy as I have wrestled with this terrible disease. I also want to extend my deep and sincere thanks to all of you who have been praying for my recovery as well as for Nancy and for the people of Liberia and West Africa.
My wife Amber and I, along with our two children, did not move to Liberia for the specific purpose of fighting Ebola. We went to Liberia because we believe God called us to serve Him at ELWA Hospital.
One thing I have learned is that following God often leads us to unexpected places. When Ebola spread into Liberia, my usual hospital work turned more and more toward treating the increasing number of Ebola patients. I held the hands of countless individuals as this terrible disease took their lives away from them. I witnessed the horror first-hand, and I can still remember every face and name.
When I started feeling ill on that Wednesday morning, I immediately isolated myself until the test confirmed my diagnosis three days later. When the result was positive, I remember a deep sense of peace that was beyond all understanding. God was reminding me of what He had taught me years ago, that He will give me everything I need to be faithful to Him.
Now it is two weeks later, and I am in a totally different setting. My focus, however, remains the same – to follow God. As you continue to pray for Nancy and me, yes, please pray for our recovery. More importantly, pray that we would be faithful to God’s call on our lives in these new circumstances.

 Recently, two of Nigeria’s young music stars Davido and Wizkid Resumed hostilities on social networks. ( Twitter, Facebook, Instagram,) where both camps took sides and traded insults..
But Davido is now fighting off another war, following massive fan hate today, over his post on the deadly Ebola virus.
Davido who is currently in Ivory Coast, Abidjan for a tour shared a picture of himself upon arrival. Barely hours later he shared a picture where he’s surrounded by soldiers and captioned it ‘Protected!! EBOLA!!’.
Immediately, the fans of the BET Award winner lashed out at him for not taking the deadly Ebola Virus which has killed so many people serious.

Ice Prince N Word Remix Could Go On To Be The Biggest African Hip-Hop Track Of The Year.

Probably one of the biggest names in African music, Chocolate City Rapper Ice Prince announces the release of N-Word Remix a remake of the Don Jazzy produced track N-Word off Ice Prince’s sophomore album Fire of Zamani; Released October 2013.

N-Word Remix is a hard-hitting hip-hop tune; and to add more juice to a sound that literally makes you want to get up on your feet and jam to it, South African rap star AKA joins the party to drop some dope lines, and bring his signature rap style to the mix. Anambra State: Church used for kidnapping Demolished

The Anambra State government has demolished a fake church  located at Umuobi Awkuzu, in Oyi local government area of the state. 

The pastor of the said church, Ifeanyi Nwezeagu, is believed to have kidnapped many innocent citizens and collected ransom worth millions of naira. According to reports, two buildings belonging to Pastor Ifeanyi Nwezeagu of Unchangeable God Ministry, were demolished on the orders of the State Government for kidnapping.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Olafimihan Adeoye, said the fake pastor, who claimed to cure mentally challenged persons, had kidnapped a lot of innocent citizens collecting huge ransoms. He was arrested in Lagos State in 2013, and wounded after attempting to resist arrest.

Reacting to the event, Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, said that his administration was winning the war against kidnappers and armed robbers in the state and would continue to empower the Police, and the Joint Security Operation with the necessary communication equipment and patrol vehicles.

The demolition team also pulled down two buildings in the family compound of the Nwadikes of Obinetiti Dusogu village, Awkuzu, the buildings belonged to a daughter of the family married to someone from another village.

Baby Igboanugo, as she is popularly called, has been on the run but in the last few years had been in contact with a kidnap gang and had incarcerated over 15 victims in the house and collected over 80 million naira as ransom.

The Police and the Joint Security Operation has, through their intelligence prowess, effected major arrests of kidnappers, including the arrest of suspects that kidnapped the younger brother of a legislator in the State House of Assembly as well as Nigeria’s midfielder Mikel Obi’s father.

While commending the security operatives, the State Governor expressed confidence in his resolve to win the war against criminals. The Police also paraded 14 suspects involved in inter-state criminal activities with specialties like kidnapping, armed robbery and forgery. They were paraded at the headquarters of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) at Awkuzu.

According to the state Police Public Relations Officer, Emeka Chukwuemeka, several arms and ammunition including rocket launchers, live cartridges and AK-47 rifles were also recovered.

Although Jay Z and Beyoncé continue to put up a united front that their marriage is just fine, new rumors are surfacing that things are not as peachy as they appear. A new report claims that Beyoncé has made up her mind, and is leaving Jay in order to be a ‘strong role model for Blue.’

 While they have been embarking on their On The Run Tour, things look bleak. “They are barely speaking to each other. After they perform they go off separately,” a source tells us.“There’s a ton of tension, they’re not happy. It’s all for the cameras.”

Now following reports that Beyoncé has actually been spotted out shopping for an apartment alone in NYC, and the endless rumors that Jay is cheating on her with Rihanna, it seems that Beyoncé has realized that she can no longer stay in the marriage.

 According to Life & Style, Beyoncé has had enough, and wants out of the marriage. “Beyoncé says she wants her marriage to work — and did everything to make it work— but now that she has a little girl, she can’t put up with a man if she thinks he is cheating.”

 A source told the magazine,”She wants to be a strong role model for Blue.” The mag continues, saying that this situation hits close to home for the singer. Her father, Matthew Knowles cheated on her mother, Tina, and she does not want her own baby girl to go through the same pain that she went through.

Thank God: Nigerian Doctors Suspend Strike To Fight Ebola

Nigerian doctors have suspended the strike to help the country fight Ebola epidemic.
According to the statement by the National Medical Association (NMA), Ebola outbreak was the main reason for ending the 5-week-long strike.
Two people have been confirmed dead and 5 more infected with the deadly virus in Lagos. Meanwhile the disease has already claimed more than 900 lives in Africa.
In a densely-populated Lagos, with more than 20 million people, the EVD is expected to spread quickly. Experts say the city’s public health system is not good enough to deal with the rising number of patients infected with Ebola.
It was made known yesterday that some striking doctors volunteered their services to help with the fighting the disease, and NMA Lagos State chapter chairman Dr Tope Ojo said the strike would not stop their members from helping the affected patients.

FG Requests For Ebola Drug From US

The Federal Government says it has reached out to the United States Centre for Disease Control to request for the unapproved Ebola drug Zmapp.

The Minister of Information, Mr Labaran Maku and the Minister of Health, Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu, told reporters after the Federal Executive Council meeting held in Abuja on Wednesday that the government was awaiting the response of the request it made last night to the centre in the US.
More than 900 people have already died in Africa from the deadly virus, World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed. Meanwhile in Nigeria two people have lost their lives and 5 others got infected, with the figure expected to rise rapidly.

Ebola Drug Raises Red Flags Among Medical Experts

Two American aid workers were gravely ill, fighting to survive infection with the deadly Ebola virus. A San Diego drug company had three doses of an experimental Ebola medicine that showed promise in monkeys but had never been tested in humans.

Getting the medication to the two patients in Liberia seemed like the obvious thing to do. Members of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institutes of Health and the Christian aid organization Samaritan's Purse worked together to make it happen.

Patient advocates who believe the drug is helpful are asking when it can be made available to the hundreds of West Africans who are ill.
